Fastness Properties of Pigment Yellow 13:

Solubility: insoluble in water, slightly soluble in toluene;yellow powder, density 1.30 ～ 1.45g/cm3, bright color, melting point 344 ℃. Keep excellent stability when heated to 150 ℃ in rubber. Good performance， it is used for nitrocellulose and polyamine with large consumption.

Main application: Water based ink, Offset ink, Solvent based ink, Textile printing

Product Description of Pigment Yellow 13:

Compared with pigment yellow 12, Pigment Yellow 13 has better solvent resistance and crystallization resistance, excellent migration resistance, and is in line with the color of printing ink. Under the same specific surface area and particle size, the strength is 25% higher; ball milling is not easy to recrystallize, and the light fastness to the same depth is 1-2 grades higher than that of Pigment Yellow 12. The dosage forms are highly transparent, translucent and highly opaque (Irgalite yellow The specific surface area of BKW is 10m2/g). It is widely used for packaging printing ink, varnish resistance and sterilization treatment; for plastic coloring, soft PVC has good migration resistance, light fastness (1/3SD) grade 6-7, due to the pyrolysis of pigments.

Pigment Yellow 13 is an organic compound and an azo compound. It is a widely used yellow pigment. It is also classified as a diarylide pigment, being derived from 3,3'-dichlorobenzidine. It is closely related to pigment yellow 12, wherein the two xylyl groups are replaced by phenyl.
